Valor is redefining community-based competency restoration through an innovative, wraparound model of care. Designed to address a longstanding gap in Colorado’s behavioral health and justice systems, Valor serves individuals involved in the competency restoration process who do not require continued incarceration or hospitalization. Through comprehensive, person-centered treatment in a therapeutic residential setting, Valor promotes recovery, behavioral stability, competency restoration, and successful community reintegration.

As a licensed Behavioral Health Entity (BHE) through Colorado’s Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), Valor provides a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health services for adults. Our program includes specialized services for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, combining mental health treatment, substance use disorder treatment, competency restoration, and recovery support within a secure, 24/7 residential environment.
